Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has urged his players to make the most of their friendly against Inter Milan on August 11. As the team returned with a lot of homework from their pre-season tour of the United States and should be improving in the final friendly.

Maresca will be in action at Stamford Bridge for the first time and. Although it is not an official game, it is a good warm-up before the clash with Man City on August 18 a week later. UFABET 

The Italian coach therefore urged his team not to just play for fun. But to show that the homework they had been tutoring on could be corrected and improved to be better than before. 

He told the club’s website :

“I’m very excited to finally be back playing as a home team. With our fans, and we’re going to have to rely on them for the rest of the season.”

“The fans will be a very important factor for us and the players because at this moment we need the most encouragement. I would like to invite everyone to have fun together.” 

“I always try to build a good relationship with the fans, especially when playing at home. They are our 12th man.”

“We need the fans to push and support us. We will try our best to create an entertaining game and share the fun.”  

“The opponents, Inter Milan, are also a very good team. Two years ago they reached the Champions League final, and last season they were Serie A champions.” 

“They’ve had the same head coach for a long time. What you see is an amazing football team, both offensively and defensively.” 

“It will be a tough job. This is the final match and the start of the new season, so we need a full team.”
