New Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim insists he is the right man for the club but needs time to implement his ideas
The 39-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year deal earlier this month to replace Erik ten Hag, who was sacked in October.
Manchester United are 13th in the Premier League table, seven points ahead of Sunday’s opponents Ipswich, who are fourth from bottom.
Although Amorim is aware of the tough task at Old Trafford, he believes he can turn things around for the club.
“l can be a dreamer, I believe in myself and I believe in the club,” he said at his first press conference as the new head coach.
“l think we have the same idea, the same attitude, and that can help,”
“I’m really believe in the players. I know you don’t believe much, but I do. I want to try something new. You think it’s impossible. I believe it’s possible.”
“You can say I’m naive, but I believe I’m the right person at the right time. I truly believe I’m the right person.”
The Portuguese boss, who joined United after four years at Sporting Lisbon, insists he will bring changes to ensure the club can challenge for the Premier League title again.
“I know at Manchester United we have to win every game. We need a lot of time because it’s a tough league. We’ve to improve ยูฟ่าเบท a lot to try to win the league.”
“We have to change the physicality of the team. I don’t know how long it will take.”
